As many of you are aware, 2026 is the new 2016 is trending. It is all over TikTok, Instagram and even made TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle. So we decided to bring back our 2016 post proclaiming Name Necklaces Make Great New Mommy Gifts! And the truth is, they might have gone out of style for a few years but they really do still make great new mommy gifts.
Over the years we have seen Sarah Jessica Parker (as Carrie in Sex and the City), Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, and Adele sporting name necklaces but most recently we spotted Gisele Bündchen with a new necklace with references to her husband and kids. The model has been seen wearing an initial necklace with letter charms standing for Joaquim Valente and her children, Benjamin, Vivian and her baby boy that she welcomed last February. I am also particularly partial to the idea of children wearing name necklaces since my own wonderful mom gave all her daughters just such a necklace for our birthdays many moons ago.
